medusa & pegasus

My addition to Kerstin's moly.....

Pegasus, the winged horse, was the son of Poseidon and Medusa. Medusa had been one of three beautiful sisters.

Athena was angered that Medusa met with Poseidon in one of her temples. She changed Medusa into a terrible monster. Zeus kept Pegasus out of the world to placate Athena. Pegasus (and the warrior Chrysaor) sprang from Medusa’s body after she was killed by Perseus.

glad you like it Kerstin! I really thought about doing this in pencil to get more detail and drama, but time was against me so I opted for the ink and watercolor...next time around I'll do a bit o' pencil or charcoal

BTW: my daughter loves the Mythology theme and wants to do one with her friends. ;-)

I luv the colors!
Medusa is one of my fav Mythology characters, scarry, but pretty ;)

btw Lisa, I`ve heard about what happened with the group you are participating with Robert, that`s really bad, which group is it?

it is actually in 23 and 21... :( I just need to find out which artists actually have the time and want to continue participating. There is one in 23 that has some personal stuff going on and two in 21 that haven't even sent out their own moly...I am really bummed out about it... I love all of their work and really want to exchange with them, but alas we must keep the molys moving along... I am grateful that Robert has been so patient with the two groups :))

aah I see. I hope these groups are gotta be okay..
joining a group is easy, but it`s hard to keep the group moving..
my moly_02 runs very slowly too, though it`s the second group since the project started, but no one is going to drop out group02 so far. I think we just need some times for 'em;)

and I belive our group will go very well! haha
