Lisa´s Moly
Lisa´s moleskine for the moleskine exchange group 20 has arrived. I just had to show the pic, as the envelope was huuuge compared to the tiny moleskine. :)

Maybe that is why it was so expensive to mail, I had to pay extra for all that padding!!!!! Silly thing was that was the SMALLEST envelope FedEX had at the time... however, it does put the moleskine into perspective size wise. Ha! Enjoy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you draw :)

wow, who is this little beautiful princess ;)

I never use FedEX, usually I use UPS, the envelope looks pretty cool! :p, it must be very expensive of the package...

the damn postoffice here seems like they haven`t deliver my moleskine to Leah`s hand! :(

@lisa: How much did you pay for it? I paid more than $16 for one moly. As I´m in 4 groups this is pretty expensive. Today I sent off the first one without registering it. And that made more than $12. So as it is almost as expensive as when it is registered, I´m thinking about registering them again. I would just hate loosing one of them.

@joyce: that´s my daughter all sleepy in her sleeping gown.:)

Kerstin, wow how did you get your $12-$16 !!!! Are you using the regular post office?? FedEx charged me just about $67 (the cheapest was $65 and would have taken almost 2 weeks to get there). I checked into UPS and they were in the $50 range. I thought this month I would get it done earlier and then send to you through the post office air mail... I'll have to do some more checking around...
If anyone has some good info for mailing overseas, PLEASE let me know. I sure can't afford the rate I spent this month.;-) Kerstin, you may want to hold onto that envelope, it is secretly lined with gold. =D

Lisa, yes I did use the regular post office.
You paid $67 for one Moly?????? I can not believe this. That is just way too much. I´m sure it is because of the size too, but that is just too much.
I sent off the moleskines registered, but without the recipient having to sign it personally. That is cheaper too. That means that I can always know where the moleskine currently is (through the tracking number) but when it is delivered, it will be just dropped at the address.

You should really use the regular post office air mail. Specially in the States, that is so cheap. I received one moly which was sent for $4.50. I pay 4 times that price.

Thanks for the pointer Kerstin!! I will definitely sent air mail this month :) Too much??? YES! I was dumbfounded and could just barely get my jaw off the counter when the guy told me that WAS the CHEAPER rate... I actually thought about telling him to forget it and probably should have... =D lessons learned! So now I am off to find a more appropriately sized envelope for Martha's Wonderful Moly... :)
